What it is
A non-invasive treatment where low-level laser pads are placed against a target area of the body for a set period, used as part of a body contouring course alongside activity.
How it works
Pads are positioned over the treatment area and left in place for the session. Activity afterwards is part of the protocol, so sessions are often scheduled around when you can move.
Good fit for
- Specific target areas within a contouring programme
- Combining with cavitation and radio frequency
- Anyone who can be active after the session
Suitability is assessed individually at consultation. Some treatments are not appropriate for everyone.
Your treatment journey
- Consultation, measurements and photographs.
- A course planned across a number of weeks.
- Sessions of 30 to 50 minutes with pads in position.
- Activity afterwards as directed, then review at the end of the course.
Results and what to expect
Change builds across a course and is tracked with measurements rather than impressions. These treatments are intended to support body contouring goals alongside your own eating and activity habits. They are not a weight-loss method and they do not replace one. Results vary considerably between individuals.
Safety and common effects
Most people notice some of the following. They are temporary and expected rather than a problem:
- Mild warmth under the pads
- No sensation at all for many people
Before you book. Suitability is assessed individually at consultation. Some treatments are not appropriate for everyone. Tell your practitioner about any medication, skin condition, allergy or recent treatment at consultation rather than on the day.

Common questions
Do I feel anything?
Most people feel very little beyond mild warmth. That is normal and does not mean it is not working.
Why do I need to exercise afterwards?
Activity after the session is part of the protocol your practitioner will explain, and it affects what you get out of the course.
Is this liposuction?
No. Liposuction is a surgical procedure. This is a non-invasive contouring treatment and the two are not comparable.
How many sessions?
Ten-session courses are standard. There is also a combined package with cavitation and radio frequency.
Will it work without changing anything else?
It is designed to support contouring goals alongside your own habits, not to replace them. We would rather be honest about that upfront.
